INTERNS

HMO Services

Medical - Surgical - Emergency - Orthopaedics - Oncology - Rehabilitation - Medical Assessment & Planning Unit (MAPU)
The generalised experience you will gain is a sound basis for future general or specialist practice.  There will be a total Intern cohort of 18, with 10 posts rotating from Austin Health and Northern Health.

  • Rehabilitation (HMO2/3) x 1
  • Emergency Medicine (HMO2/3/4) x 3
  • Paediatrics (HMO2/3/4) x 4
  • Obstetrics & Gynaecology (HMO3/4) Accredited for DRANZCOG x 4
  • Orthopaedics HMO2 x1
  • Psychiatry (HMO2/3) x2
  • PgPPP x 8 (Prevocational General Practice Placement Program)

These positions are suitable for GP Registrars or GP's wanting to upgrade their skills.

  • Anaesthetics (12 month post)
  • Obstetrics DRANZCOG (6 month post x 4)
  • Obstetrics DRANZCOG Advanced (12 month x 2)
