The operating suite consists of five operating theatres and a post anaesthetic care unit.

We also offer a Post Graduate Diploma of Perioperative / Perianaesthesia Nursing with a clinical nurse educator for support.

Perioperative Services implemented a new theatre session planner in March 2008, this has seen an increase in the theatre throughput and sessions available to assist in reducing our waiting lists.
