Outpatient Rehabilitation Services provides generalist multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation to adults in the Greater Bendigo region and specialist services to adults in the Loddon-Mallee region.

Most clients receive a range of services including:

• Physiotherapy
• Occupational therapy
• Speech pathology
• Social work
• Nursing
• Diabetic foot clinic

Some clients will be offered podiatry, dietetics and psychology services within their course of rehabilitation.

Services are offered within a rehabilitation framework and will provide client-focused, flexible and integrated community rehabilitation for clients with complex rehabilitation needs.

The outpatient rehabilitation service offers a range of services in three streams of care - neurological, musculoskeletal and complex health management.

Neurological:

The neurological team offer comprehensive assessments and management for clients with a broad range of neurological disorders, who require rehabilitation.  Some specialty services are offered within this stream and include spinal services and the acquired brain injury (ABI) men's group.

Musculoskeletal:

The musculoskeletal team offer assessment and management for clients with musculoskeletal disorders who require rehabilitation.  Some speciality services are offered within this stream and include the back rehabilitation program and hand and upper limb rehabilitation.

Complex Health Management:

The complex health management teams offer a range of assessment and management services, such as:

• Amputee
• Falls & Mobility
• Memory - Cognition, Dementia and Memory Services (C.D.A.M.S.)
• Complex, chronic pain management programs
• Tissue Trauma
