Bendigo Health offers a work experience program for students studying years 10, 11 and 12 as part of their school curricular.
Bendigo Health is one of Australia’s leading regional hospitals providing high-quality, comprehensive people-focused care to over 300,000 people in the Loddon Mallee region. With more than 3,300 staff, Bendigo Health is one of the largest employers in regional Victoria and is a highly-regarded teaching hospital.
The Bendigo Health work experience program provides students with an insight into how individual departments contribute to the daily operation of the hospital.
Areas of the hospital offering work experience placements include:
- Nursing
- Medical
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational therapy
- Nutrition/dietetics
- Administration
- Engineering
To apply for this program, students must complete an online application form via e-Recruit. The online process allows students to have a greater understanding of the processes involved when job seekers apply for positions within the hospital.
