What the clinic does  

Specialist multidisciplinary services for people with complex wounds, vascular dysfunction, scars, burns and oedema including Lymphoedema.

 

Close liaison with district nursing service, medical oncology, radiotherapy and vascular and surgical specialists as appropriate.

 

Includes wound clinic.

  • Consultative service for regional patients
  • Emphasis on education of oncology patients at risk of lymphoedema, self management strategies
  • Prescription and manufacture of pressure garments
  • Exercise – gym/hydro
  • Emphasis on graded home based and returned to work activities
  • Relaxation and stress management.

How to refer your patient

You can provide information using the Bendigo Health SCTT form, your personal letterhead or a computer generated form.

 

Information about the patient’s condition, functional ability, the impact their condition is having on their normal daily activities, some indication of the expected outcomes would help us in determining how best we can meet the needs of your patient.

 

You may fax the referral in and then post the original.
