There will be at least 64 HMO positions at Bendigo Health in 2025, consisting of PGY2 and PGY3+ doctors.

PGY2 HMO Position

Due to the upcoming implementation of the National Framework for Prevocational Medical Training, Bendigo Health are currently determining how the PGY2 positions will be structured for 2025.

Further information regarding PGY2 positions will be provided once the details have been determined in conjunction with the PMCV.

PGY3+ HMO Positions

As a PGY3+ you are able to apply for a range of positions at Bendigo Health, including:

Critical care

Other pathways will be available once the details of the PGY2 structure is determined. Futher information will be provided as it becomes available.

How are rotations allocated?

Within your cover letter, the preferred rotations should be mentioned and this will be discussed further during the interview. Successful candidates will then have opportunity to rank rotation combinations in order of preference. Bendigo Health does their best to provide you with the required rotations for your training pathway.

Are there compulsory rotations?

Most HMOs at Bendigo will be required to undertake a Relieving or External rotation. The exception is HMOs on the Critical Care pathway.
