2012 NAIDOC Week celebrations
Tuesday, July 03, 2012
Bendigo Health today hosted a service wide simultaneous morning tea to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Staff and community members in Mildura, Castlemaine, Swan Hill, Echuca and several sites across Bendigo stopped for a cuppa between 10am and 11am as part of NAIDOC Week celebrations.
Bendigo Health Aboriginal Hospital Liaison Officer Bruce Forrest said celebrating NAIDOC Week is important to all Bendigo Health staff members in recognising how far the organisation has come in ‘closing the gap’ and improving care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
