The two teams consisted of regional and city representatives involved in Reclink Australia, a charitable organisation whose mission is to provide sporting, social and arts activities to enhance the lives of people experiencing disadvantage.

City of Greater Bendigo mayor Alec Sandner presented the players with medals and there will also be a half time sprint sponsored by Reclink and Bendigo Bank.
