The Bendigo Regional Continence Service has a team of experienced health professionals who can provide assessment and treatment for clients of all ages with bladder, bowel and pelvic floor muscle problems.
Over two million Australian men and women of all ages are affected by incontinence. Incontinence can be prevented, treated, managed and often cured through a range of options. Incontinence will not go away without taking action.
Bedwetting, prolapse and pelvic pain can also be assessed and treated by the regional continence service.

- Urodynamic clinics (urology and gynaecology specialists)
- Individualised pelvic floor muscle assessment and treatment
- Advice about continence products, including accessing funding sources where eligible
- Education and follow up for clients after discharge from hospital
- Education for other health professionals and carers
- Community education sessions
Location of service:
Clients usually attend the clinic on the Anne Caudle Centre campus of Bendigo Health
Visits can also be made to:

- Hospital and rehabilitation wards
- Schools
Regional areas are visited once a month by a continence nurse advisor

Who is eligible?
Men, women and children of all ages living in the Loddon Campaspe region are eligible for the regional continence service.
Who can refer?
- Self
- Doctor
- Carers, community services, case managers and other health professionals
- All children under 15 must have a doctor's referral
- Referrals can be made by phone, fax or mail
Fees:
There is currently no cost for the service. There is a cost for hire of equipment where required.
