Audiology
The Audiology Unit provides hearing assessments and advice for patients of all ages.
Some of the conditions commonly encountered include:

  • Ear infections
  • Hereditary deafness
  • Exposure to occupational and/or recreational noise
  • Hearing loss associated with age
  • Dizziness and noises in the ears (tinnitus).

This service is the only public funded diagnostic hearing service in the Loddon Mallee region.

 

How do I access the service (referral)

 

Patients can be referred by their doctor, speech pathologist, paediatrician, teacher or other health professional. 

 

Patients can also self refer for themselves or their children.
