All Basic Physician Training in Victoria is provided through a consortia comprised of metropolitan and rural hospitals.

Bendigo Health is part of the Central North West Basic Physician Training Consortium, which includes rotations across Austin Health, Bendigo Health, Northern Health and Wimmera Healthcare Group.

Bendigo Health is committed to maintaining high success rates in FRACP exams and hosts the exam each year. Registrars are well supported with seven Consultant Physicians and the Professor of Medicine.
