The generalised experience you will gain is a sound basis for future general or specialist practice. There will be a total Intern cohort of 24, with ten posts rotating from Austin and Northern Health.

Positions are appointed through the Intern Match co-ordinated through the Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV). Interns rotate through five well-supported rotations in order to gain full medical registration whilst developing essential skills and knowledge.

• General Surgery (core)
• Rehabilitation / Aged Care (non core)
• Orthopaedics (non core)
• Oncology (non core)
• MAPU (Medical Assessment and Planning Unit) (core)
• PgPPP (non core)
