Cancer Wellness Program

The Cancer Wellness Program encompasses a range of activities to assist in improving the physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of patients and carers with cancer. The program is run by a Wellness Coordinator and it hopes to soon introduce workshops such as yoga, meditation and oncology massage.

Physical Activity and Movement

Exercise benefits most people during and after cancer treatment.  However you should always talk with your doctor before starting any new or different types of exercise to make sure that this is safe for you and your condition.  If you would like more individualised information and advice about appropriate, safe and effective exercise specifically for you, please ask your doctor for a referral to a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist in the Cancer Centre at Bendigo Health.
