Bendigo Health’s community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic has opened to the public today.

The clinic, located at 113-133 Mollison Street, has been transformed into a space capable of vaccinating thousands of people each week.

The Clinic has 40 cubicles and large waiting and recovery areas. It will be open seven days a week.

Member for Bendigo West, Maree Edwards, received her COVID-19 vaccination on the first day of operation. She encouraged others to visit the vaccination centre and get their vaccine.

Bendigo Health Board Chair, Bob Cameron said he hoped the new central location of the clinic would encourage more people to get their vaccination.

“This Clinic is for anyone in the Loddon Mallee, not just in Bendigo,” Mr Cameron said.

“We need as many people as possible to be vaccinated now.”

The Clinic is open seven days a week, from 10am-5pm. To check your eligibility and register for the COVID-19 vaccination visit the Bendigo Health website https://www.bendigohealth.org.au/Bookyourvaccination/ or call the State Coronavirus Hotline on 1800 675 398. Walk in appointments are available daily from 10am-12pm and 1pm-5pm.

Accessible entry and parking is available via McLaren Street. Additional parking is also available in McLaren Street.

Bendigo Health’s COVID-19 Screening Clinic will remain in Stewart Street.
