Patient talking to doctor via telehealth

Teletrials

Bendigo Health is participating in the Australian Teletrial Program (ATP). This program aims to improve access to, and participation in, clinical trials for rural, regional and remote Australians.

About

Teletrials is a proven model which uses telehealth to connect regional and rural clinical trial site clusters.

Participants can be seen in a health service in their local area for some or all of their study visits. The health service staff working on the trial communicate with each other using digital teleconferencing technology to complete trial activities.

All investigators, sponsors and trials teams are encouraged to consider whether running a trial as a Teletrial would benefit patients first and foremost, as well as the recruitment targets set for the trial.
