Aboriginal Employment

Bendigo Health is proudly supporting two of 10 Aboriginal Mental Health trainees positions recently funded by the state government. 

The state government’s $3.5 million Aboriginal Mental Health Traineeship Program is designed to increase the number of Indigenous mental health practitioners in healthcare system. 

Trainees will undertake a three-year program that combines clinical placements with tertiary mental health studies.
