Mental Health Residential Services

Residential Services (sometimes called Rehabilitation) gives people a live-in option to be able to access mental health and or drug and alcohol treatment within the community setting.

Residential facilities provide a supportive therapeutic environment to assist a person to work on their recovery goals. The programs vary according to the needs of the person and Mental Health Services provides the following programs:

Youth Prevention and Recovery Care  (YPARC)
YPARC is a 10-bed facility that provides 24-hour treatment and support for young people aged 16 to 25 years.

Adult Prevention and Recovery Care (APARC)
APARC is a 10-single bed units. APARC provides 24-hour treatment and support for young people aged 18 to 25 years, living in the Loddon Mallee region.

Community Care Units (CCU)
CCU is a 12 bed program staffed by Bendigo Health Mental Health staff for patients aged 18 to 65 years.

DDU is an 8 bed voluntary residential unit designed to treat individuals with mental health and drug and/or alcohol dependency.
